I am a widowed mother/artist with a 10 year old daughter at home. I have been working my craft as an artist while raising my five children (four are grown) over the past 15 years. My family has always been a priority in my life. At this stage of my life with my youngest daughter I am discovering how to 'play'. We play with paint and clay. My daughter taught me how to take the natural clay we have around here and we sculpt. I am learning more of a sense of freedom in my painting style and she is wanting to be an artist like her mom. We both enjoy our creative discoveries together.

My creative works are primarily realistic giving definition to depth and perspective. I like to explore different styles and techniques creating 2 and 3 dimensional art. I permit spirit to ignite the spark directing the course of my vision. The electric impulse breathes life onto canvas.

In my early creative efforts as an artist, it was my way of working through life.Now, in my later years my creative efforts reflect what I can give back to God for blessing me with this wonderful gift.
